Work

Working with Ramsay Health Care in Western Australia (Ramsay WA) gives you the opportunity to work at up to four hospitals, each with different case mixes, acuity, patient demographics and scope for improving your procedural skills and theoretical knowledge.

Joondalup Health Campus
Ramsay Health Care:

Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) is a large public and private hospital with intern rotations in general medicine, rehabilitation/geriatrics,  general surgery and emergency medicine.

In the Emergency Department (ED), we see around 100,000 ED (paediatric and adult) presentations per year, which makes us one of the busiest EDs in Australia. There is excellent senior support and fantastic exposure to a wide range of emergency presentations, with ample opportunity for fine tuning clinical skills and possibly the best access to annual leave in WA.

If you decide to apply to stay on at JHC as an RMO, if successful you will have the option to rotate through paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, various surgical specialties, orthopaedics, cardiology and intensive care. We can provide all clinical exposure required for GP training and great experience for a variety of specialty training programmes.

JHC is the only WA hospital with an A+ rating for doctor morale and culture (AMA DiT Survey 2017).

Once you start work, all administration for the Commonwealth interns is centred here and you will undertake a week’s orientation prior to starting your first rotation on Monday 11 January 2016. For more information about JHC, please head to www.joondaluphealthcampus.com.au.
